Former Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-OH) warned Americans of the “deep state” and attempted coup by intelligence back in February when intelligence officials unmasked and leaked transcripts on Michael Flynn to mainstream media.
On Wednesday, Kucinich went on Hannity to warn that there is a “politicization” of intentionally nonpartisan agencies that has resulted in leaks to the press and a “threat to our republic.”
Dennis Kucinich: Well, you have a politicization of the agencies. That is resulting in leaks from anonymous unknown people and the intention is to take down a president. This is very dangerous to America. It is a threat to our republic. It constitutes a clear and present danger to our way of life. What is the motive of these people? Who’s putting these leaks out? Why isn’t somebody coming forward to make that charge and put their name and their reputation behind it instead of attacking through the media and not substantiating their position?
Kucinich called the damaging leaks against President Trump a “clear and present danger” to the American way of life, Fox News reports.
He called on the anonymous leakers to have the courage to name themselves.
“Our first allegiance is to our country,” he added. “Our country itself is under attack from within.”
Mike Huckabee credited Kucinich with ignoring the majority of his fellow Democrats and speaking out on the crisis in a nonpartisan way.
