Liberals are so desperate to overthrow the election because Donald Trump won that they are calling and threatening the electorates and DEMANDING that they change their votes.
Members of the US Electoral College are receiving DEATH THREATS from the ‘tolerant’ leftist Hillary supporters and as usual, mainstream media is silent.
The Detroit News reports:
Michael Banerian wants to show that young adults still have faith in the political system, but he said his selection as one of Michigan’s 16 Electoral College voters has prompted emails urging him to vote for Democrat Hillary Clinton and even threatening death.
On Dec. 19, the 22-year-old Banerian is scheduled to join 15 other Michiganians to cast their electoral votes for Republican President-elect Donald Trump. But Trump’s opponents have deluged Banerian and other GOP electors with pleas and nasty emails to reverse course and cast their ballots for Clinton, according to the Michigan Republican Party.
“You have people saying ‘you’re a hateful bigot, I hope you die,’ ” he said. “I’ve had people talk about shoving a gun in my mouth and blowing my brains out. And I’ve received dozens and dozens of those emails. Even the non-threatening-my-life emails are very aggressive.”
The Detroit News verified one message containing a death wish and another containing a death threat, in which the person told Banerian he would “put a bullet” in his mouth. Banerian said he deleted the rest of the emails and messages “because as you can imagine they’re clogging up my email.”
“Even if I could, I wouldn’t be remotely interested in changing my vote,” said Banerian, a political science senior at Oakland University and youth vice chair of the Michigan Republican Party. “The people of Michigan spoke, and it’s our job to deliver that message.”
AZ Central reports:
Arizona’s presidential electors have received a torrent of emails and phone calls in recent days pleading with them to choose Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton or any other candidate except President-elect Donald Trump.
Bruce Ash, Arizona’s GOP national committeeman, said he received more than 300 emails Thursday.
He said the effort is “an outright political maneuver,” citing “clone emails.” In some instances, when he deletes one, 10 or 15 more flood into his inbox.
He said he has sent images of the emails to the state party’s attorneys. He believes the emails amount to an attempt to suppress votes for Trump.
Ash declined to share any of the emails but described them: “They demonize me, they call me a homophobic, an isolationist, a bigot, a misogynist, and an anti-Semite, which is interesting because I’m Jewish.”
Ash added, “They are hateful. And for a couple of days I answered them by thanking them and then explaining to them that I felt I had an obligation to the majority of the voters in Arizona who voted for him … and honoring their vote.”
The Spokesman Review reports:
Idaho’s four presidential electors say they have been getting harassing phone calls, emails and Facebook messages urging them to become “faithless electors” and not cast their votes for Donald Trump in the electoral college.
“A lot of ’em use bad, rough language,” said Layne Bangerter, one of the four electors. “Nothing I feel intimidated over. But we’re watching it very closely. They’ve got our home phone numbers, our cell numbers, our emails, our Facebook. We’re just getting an orchestrated barrage from the left.”
“They attack my religion, they attack my politics, they tell me that I must be a terrible father, I must be a terrible American, they use foul language – every swear word,” he said. “They’re just trying to steal this thing. They won’t be able to do it, but they’re trying.”
Idaho’s other three Trump electors are Jennifer Locke, of Coeur d’Alene, Caleb Lakey, of Kuna, and former state Sen. Melinda Smyser, R-Parma. “Caleb told me he had over 200 and something when he checked this morning,” Bangerter said.
Locke said, “It is concerning to me. It does feel like some level of intimidation.”
She said one message urged her to “vote for Jeb.” Others questioned Trump’s qualifications or charged sexism and racism. “They’re not even from this state – it’s Oregon, New York, California, Massachusetts, a lot of these is where I’m getting messages from,” she said.
All have said they will not change their vote because they have a responsibility to the American people, and we want Donald Trump as the 45th President of the United States.
