Obama and Valerie Jarrett are behind the recent Hillary Clinton leaks.
Obama’s senior adviser Valerie Jarrett leaked the details about former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s exclusive use of a private email server during her tenure.
Clinton came under fire for exclusively using her own ‘clintonemail.com’ email address while she was America’s top diplomat.
She admitted during a news conference at the United Nations that she deleted more than 30,000 emails she decided were personal in nature and unrelated to her job.
Jarrett used outside sources to leak the information so that neither she nor the White House would be seen as the originator of the leak, Post columnist Edward Klein reported.
Last fall, during the run-up to the 2014 midterm elections, Jarrett was heard to complain bitterly that the Clinton’s were turning congressmen, senators, governors and grass-root party members against Obama by portraying him as an unpopular president who was an albatross around the neck of the party.
Jarrett was said to be livid that most Democrats running for election refused to be seen campaigning with the president. She blamed the Clinton’s for marginalizing the president and for trying to wrestle control of the Democratic Party away from Obama.
“Obama and Valerie Jarrett will go to any lengths to prevent Hillary from becoming president,” a source close to the White House told Klein. “They believe that Hillary, like her husband, is left of center, not a true-blue liberal.”
Obama and Jarrett fear that if Clinton becomes the 45th president, she’ll compromise many programs Obama initiated.
“With Obama’s approval, Valerie has been holding secret meetings with [former Maryland Gov.] Martin O’Malley and [Massachusetts Sen.] Elizabeth Warren,” the sources told Klein. “She’s promised O’Malley and Warren the full support of the White House if they will challenge Hillary for the presidential nomination.”
Klein’s source said Clinton added: “The Obama’s are out to get us any way they can.”
Jarrett also requested that the State Department initiate a series of investigations into Clinton’s conduct while at the State Department, “including the use of her expense account, the disbursement of funds, her contact with foreign leaders and her possible collusion with the Clinton Foundation,” Klein wrote.
Why, because Jarrett and the Obama administration believe Hillary Clinton is more likely to work with congressional Republicans, threatening Obama’s legacy.
