President Obama took another opportunity to fire a rhetorical shot at GOP frontrunner Donald Trump saying during a ‘Friends of Ireland’ luncheon in anticipation of St. Patrick’s Day that, ‘I’m not the only one in this room who may be more than a little dismayed about what’s happening on the campaign trail lately.’
‘We have heard vulgar and divisive rhetoric aimed at women and minorities – at Americans who don’t look like us, or pray like us, or vote like we do,’ he said.
That’s rich coming from a President whose idea of protecting Americans is to open the borders and flood the country with unvetted illegal’s and immigrants and use billions of taxpayer money to support them.
Obama has spent the better part of his last year in office dividing our country and showing favoritism to people who don’t belong here and refuse to adhere to our ways of life and laws.
All Obama accomplished was reiterating that he and the political establishment are afraid of Trump and what he stands for – making America great again!
At least Obama condemned left-wing efforts to stifle Trump, such as the quasi-riot that erupted in Obama’s adopted hometown of Chicago last Friday before and after Trump canceled a rally there.
‘We’ve seen misguided attempts to shut down that speech, however offensive it may be,’ the president said.
‘We live in a country where free speech is one of the most important rights that we hold.’
