TEXAS WOMAN BLASTS CNN: ‘People Are Breaking Down and You’re Here Asking How We Feel?!’ (Video)

An emotional Houston woman let lose on a CNN reporter who was asking her questions about how she and her children were coping with Hurricane Harvey.

This was live so the reporter had no choice but to stand there and take it.

TEXAS WOMAN: “Yeah, that’s a lot of sh*t. But ya’ll sit here and ya’ll try to interview people during their worst times. Like, that’s not the smartest thing to do! Like people are really breaking down and ya’ll come in here with camera and microphones, trying to ask us what the f*ck is wrong with us!? And you really trying to understand us with the microphone still in my face. With me shivering cold and my kid’s wet and you still putting the microphone in my face.”

The woman and her children then stormed off and it cut to CNN Jim Acosta who said, “it sounds like you have a very upset family there.”

This is the second day in a row CNN has been slammed over its Hurricane Harvey coverage.

From the GWP:

“I didn’t care to be on TV, but I just want to tell all y’all reporters and the people here, when you’re here, act like this is y’all’s home,” Joe Kirchens, a Rockport resident, said. “You know, have the respect to report like this is y’all’s…you know, this place is gone so we need help.”

Kirchens explained that he didn’t have much time before the storm to evacuate and only had enough time to board up his home. Kirchens said his house survived the storm but is in a “disaster zone.”

“All I have to say is y’all guys treat this like this is y’all’s place cause I’ve seen the reporting in some of these places and some of the guys have the respect …just treat it like it’s y’all’s place,” Kirchens reiterated.

It amazes me that reporters ask people how they feel after losing everything you have, what a ludicrous question.  All you have to do is look at their homes flooded with water and the sheer devastation their communities have suffered to know the answer.
