Duy Tran, who is a proud American citizen, says his apartment complex manager told him his American flag was a “threat to the Muslim community,” and that he has to take it down. But he’s not giving up without a fight. Duy Tran says, one thing is clear: “The flag means a lot to me.”
Tran proudly put the American flag up when he moved into the complex a few days ago. He says that the apartment manager at the Lodge on El Dorado told him he had to take it down. “What really stunned me is that she said it’s a threat towards the Muslim community,” said Tran. “I’m not a threat toward anybody.”
“I’m gonna leave my flag there, as an American, until she shows me proof that I don’t have the right to leave my flag there,” said Tran.
Go get him Obama is not going too he’s not Muslim!!
Never take the American flag down for any reason especially for Muslims. If they don’t like it they can go back to there murderers and sand demons in hell.
Why do people from the middle east get visa’s anyway. Nobody in this country wants anymore diseases here. They should all be rounded up and deported. Cause in their murdering country our heads would be cut off. Thank god we Americans are civilized.
He should get a flag pole and hang it instead. The flag blocks the ability to see if someone should be trying to break into his sliding glass door. I would be concerned about that as someone broke into a second floor balcony apartment through a sliding glass door and killed a tenant. That is the only thing that could possibly be a threat to safety. From the ground level looking up it could poise a visual problem. I know many complex’s state you can’t hang towels to dry or anything over the balcony because of aesthetics. The manager was really quite unprofessional to state it is because of Muslim’s when the lease probably states nothing can be hung over the balcony. If I owned the complex she would be fired. I hope he wins this case because if he doesn’t it just like God it will be the next thing taken in the name of political correctness.
