UN Panel: United States Owes Black People Reparations For History Of Slavery (Video)

A United Nations-affiliated group in Geneva said that the history of slavery in the United States justifies reparations for African Americans, according to a recent report by the group.

According to the Washington Post, this conclusion was part of a study by the United Nations’ Working Group of Experts on People of African Descent, a body that reports to the international organization’s High Commissioner on Human Rights. The group of experts, which includes leading human rights lawyers from around the world, presented its findings to the United Nations Human Rights Council on Monday, pointing to the continuing link between present injustices and the dark chapters of American history.

9-facts-about-slavery“In particular, the legacy of colonial history, enslavement, racial subordination and segregation, racial terrorism and racial inequality in the United States remains a serious challenge, as there has been no real commitment to reparations and to truth and reconciliation for people of African descent,” the report stated. “Contemporary police killings and the trauma that they create are reminiscent of the past racial terror of lynching.”

Citing the past year’s spate of police officers killing unarmed African American men, the panel warned against “impunity for state violence,” which has created, in its words, a “human rights crisis” that “must be addressed as a matter of urgency.”

The panel drew its recommendations, which are nonbinding and unlikely to influence Washington, after a fact-finding mission in the United States in January. At the time, it hailed the strides taken to make the American criminal justice system more equitable but pointed to the corrosive legacy of the past.

“Despite substantial changes since the end of the enforcement of Jim Crow and the fight for civil rights, ideology ensuring the domination of one group over another, continues to negatively impact the civil, political, economic, social and cultural rights of African Americans today,” it said in a statement. “The dangerous ideology of white supremacy inhibits social cohesion amongst the US population.”

In its report, it specifically dwells on the extrajudicial murders that were a product of an era of white supremacy:

Lynching was a form of racial terrorism that has contributed to a legacy of racial inequality that the United States must address. Thousands of people of African descent were killed in violent public acts of racial control and domination and the perpetrators were never held accountable.

The reparations could come in a variety of forms, according to the panel, including “a formal apology, health initiatives, educational opportunities … psychological rehabilitation, technology transfer and financial support, and debt cancellation.”

To be sure, such initiatives are nowhere in the cards, even after the question of reparations arose again two years ago when surfaced by the groundbreaking work of American journalist Ta-Nehisi Coates.

When asked by reporters to comment on the tone of the American presidential election campaign on Monday, the working group’s chairman, Ricardo A. Sunga of the Philippines, expressed concern about “hate speech … xenophobia [and] Afrophobia” that he felt was prevalent in the campaign, although he didn’t specifically call out Republican candidate Donald Trump.

“We are very troubled that these are on the rise,” said Sunga.

  1. Blacks Calling Themselves Muslims Should Be Ashamed

Slavery is one of the vilest institutions ever created by man. Islam institutionalized slavery. Allah, the Islamic God, created ETERNAL LAWS allowing Muslims to own and rape their slaves. Muslims can enslave kafirs and keep the female captives as sex-slaves.
If Islam succeeds in conquering the world, there will, most likely, arise again Islamic corporations for breeding, raising, and trading slaves in tens of millions as was done until the late 19th century. Kafir women will again likely become the sex-slaves of Muslim masters. This evil horrid treatment, which so characterized fate of tens of millions of kafirs at the hands of Muslims, may make a comeback on the world-stage.
Muhammad, the apostle of God, the Islamic prophet of peace, was a slaver. He owned 40 slaves some of them blacks. Muhammad had kept his female slaves as concubines, so did his comrades and pious companions.
Mahran, one of Muhammad’s black slave, was made him to carry the belongings of Muhammad and his companions while on a journey through the burning desert as Muhammad said: “Carry them, for you are a ship.” Thereafter, he became known by that surname, Safina (‘ship’). Relating this own story, Mahran said:

“The apostle of God and his companions went on a trip. (When) their belongings became too heavy for them to carry, Muhammad told me, ‘Spread your garment.’ They filled it with their belongings, then they put it on me. The apostle of God told me, ‘Carry (it), for you are a ship.’ Even if I was carrying the load of six or seven donkeys while we were on a journey, anyone who felt weak would throw his clothes or his shield or his sword on me so I would carry that, a heavy load. The prophet told me, ‘You are a ship”‘ (refer to Ibn Qayyim, p. 115–116; al-Hulya, Vol. 1, p. 369, quoted from Ahmad 5:222).

    Islamic ‘Black Slave’ Trade
Almost all Blacks living in U.S. today can trace their roots back to a slave ancestor.
The awful truth is that Arabs ravaged Africa for nearly a millennium engaging in enslavement of Africans on a grand scale before the Europeans began exporting black slaves. In fact, the Arabic word for ‘black’ (“abed”) is also the same word for ‘slave’. This is because, the black Africans became synonymous with slaves to Arabs. Over 120 million black Africans were killed by Muslim in one of the greatest holocausts in history. Some 75% of slaves perished on their way to markets thousands of miles. To ensure that black men could not have children Muslims castrated them; many died in this barbaric cruelty. This is the reason there are no Blacks in the Middle East.
Slavery is a divine institution in Islam, enshrined in the Koran and unchangeable for all time. To admit that slavery is a mistake is to admit the fallibility of the Koran and bring its divine origin into question.

Muhammad Owned and Sold Black Slaves

Muhammad owned several black slaves. Muslim scholar Ibn Qayyim al-Jawziyya relies heavily on the prophet’s biographies written by great early Islamic scholars. He is regarded by Muslims as an authority, a primary source and a leader amongst Islamic scholars. He tells us in his book, “Zad al-Ma’ad” (part 1, pp. 114-116), the following:

“These are the names of Muhammad’s male slaves: Yakan Abu Sharh, Aflah, ‘Ubayd, Dhakwan, Tahman, Mirwan, Hunayn, Sanad, Fadala Yamamin, Anjasha al-Hadi, Mad’am, Karkara, Abu Rafi’, Thawban, Ab Kabsha, Salih, Rabah, Yara Nubyan, Fadila, Waqid, Mabur, Abu Waqid, Kasam, Abu’ Ayb, Abu Muwayhiba, Zayd Ibn Haritha, and also a black slave called Mahran.”

Even today in Saudi Arabia, the heartland of Islam, the common word for “Black” is “Abd”, also meaning “slave”.

    Mohammed’s position on freeing slaves
In one instance, a man freed a slave that he kept as a sexual partner. When Mohammed heard what happened, he auctioned the boy and sold him for 800 dirhams to Na-eem Ebn Abdullah Al- Nahham. (Sahih Moslem vol. 7, page 83)
According to Mohammed, the punishment for committing adultery is different with a free-woman and a slave-woman. The man must be flogged

  2. OK, here I go. Get ready hate me. Don’t kid a kidder you probably already did. Don’t care. Every ethnicity has a day or a month commemorating their accomplishments and it’s a great thing…..until….wait for it…..white guys claim to be proud. Then it’s racism. After all, the only thing we ever did was enslave another ethnicity. Right? Wrong. Here’s a short list of a few things white people invented/discovered: Democracy, The Telescope, The Microscope, The Automobile, Television, Radio, Electricity, The Microwave Oven, Radar, Sonar, X-Rays, The Polio Vaccine, Motion Pictures, Air Travel, Space Travel, Computers (personal and otherwise), The Piano, The Telephone, Theory of Evolution, Banking, Beer Electronic Calculators, Diesel engines, Internal combustion engines, Steam Engines, The Sewing Machine, The Jet Engine, The discovery of DNA, The discovery of the Atom, The discovery of Cells, The Camera, The Artificial Heart, Nuclear Power, The Theory of Relativity, FACEBOOK….Not a complete list by any stretch but a start. God forbid we should celebrate though. That would be racist. Know what? Tough shit. I’ll just be racist then. No problem. I would never want to detract from any other ethnicity’s right to be proud of their accomplishments. They SHOULD BE PROUD. When they celebrate their accomplishments – I will gladly celebrate with them. Other ethnicities have produced incredible scientists and philosophers. The Chinese were exploring the oceans in wooden ships when my celtic ancestors were still learning to thatch a freaking roof. Martin Luther King? I wish we knew how to clone people before he was taken. We could use about 100 men just like him today. But turnabout is fair play. All ethnicities have a laundry list of things to be proud of. So be proud without reservation. You earned it. So did we. If you are any other ethnicity and you can’t be proud of your own accomplishments without denying another ethnicity the right to be proud as well – shame on you. You’re a small person. If you are white and you feel the need to be so self-deprecating that you refuse yourself the right to be proud out of some misguided sense of guilt or a simple desire to be politically correct to satisfy someone else – shame on you even more. You are an even smaller person. I get it. I’m supposed to feel guilty for slavery. I wasn’t born when slavery was going on (believe it or not). I had nothing to do with it and you weren’t alive then either nor were you ever a slave. So no, I don’t feel guilty about it. A giant meteorite crashed a few million years ago killing all the dinosaurs. I am sorry that happened, poor dinosaurs. But I had exactly as much to do with that event as I did slavery and except an equal amount of guilt for both events. Suck up a little reality people and get over it. Nobody ever effectively moved in a forward direction while constantly looking in the rear-view mirror.

  3. I suggest that you find which African tribe they are descended from and send them back to that part of Africa – wonder how many would want to go! Slavery is evil but it was their ancestors who suffered, not them. Maybe their suffering allowed their ungrateful descendants to have a better life in the USA than they would have had in the war torn countries of Africa – think about it and be grateful for what you have got and grateful to those who really suffered.

  4. So, is the UN going to recommend that European nations, African nations, Middle Eastern nations, and Asian nations who have enslaved individuals, children, and women should also pay reparations? What about the damage to indigenous populations by Europeans in Africa, the Americas, and Australia?

  5. We don’t owe you shit! The UN thinks it can control the world and tell everyone how to live! FUCK YOU. UN! You put Saudis and Chinese on the Human Rights Commission? Give me a FUCKING break! Americanism, not Globalism!
