Activist Group Selling Merchandise Inspired by Rep. Waters: ‘Be Like Maxine’ (Video)

An activist group is selling merchandise inspired by outspoken anti-Trump Rep. Maxine Waters.

Activist group Color of Change, which claims to be the largest online racial justice organization in the United States, launched the #BeLikeMaxine campaign with the slogan “civility won’t save us.”

T-shirts, buttons and bags that read, “Be Like Maxine” are being marketed using the slogan, “Civility won’t save us,” are being sold on the Color of Change Facebook page.

A video for the group shows left-wing activists Shaun King and Linda Sarsour promoting the “Be Like Maxine” campaign.

“We need to be more like Maxine and show up for those most directly impacted by this current administration,” Black Lives Matter co-founder Patrisse Cullors said in the video posted to the Color of Change Twitter account.

 Fox News reports:

Waters, one of the most outspoken President Trump critics in Congress, recently caused a controversy when she called on her supporters to harass members of the Trump administration whenever they are out in public.

“If you see anybody from that cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd and you push back on them, and you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere,” Waters said at a June rally in Los Angeles.

Waters has repeatedly called for Trump’s impeachment, dubbing him a “despicable human being” and a “white supremacist.”
