Try as they might to boost their plummeting ratings, CNN continues to lose the interest of the American people because of their unfounded attacks against President Trump. Their ratings have continued to drop with the network averaging a nearly three-year low in viewership last week.

CNN hit a five-year low among the key 25-54 demographic while it brought in 138,000 prime-time demographic viewers. The company averaged 643,000 prime-time viewers overall.

Fox News had its highest-rated year in prime time in the network’s 23-year history, with a total average audience of 2.5 million viewers, according to ratings data compiled by Nielsen.

“Once again, Fox News Channel’s team of leading journalists and opinion hosts have led the network to a record-breaking ratings year as the number one network in all of cable for the fourth consecutive year,” said Fox News Media CEO Suzanne Scott and Fox News Media President and Executive Editor Jay Wallace in a joint statement released by the network. “FNC continues to exert its dominance in cable television as the country experiences what may be one of the most fervent news cycles in history and we are proud to provide our audience with news and opinion they can trust across a variety of programming.”

Leading in ratings was Fox News that averaged 1.3 million viewers for its programming that week, and its prime-time listings brought in 2.2 million viewers on average and 303,000 demographic viewers.

It does not matter what your political position is, there is no denying that this is just bad TV, if you’re a conservative, it’s excruciating TV, and this is pretty much CNN 24/7 over the last four years.
