In yet another left-wing conspiracy against conservatives, specifically patriots, a ranking member of the Committee on Homeland Security made an outrageous statement that militia groups are mobilizing and could act if Donald Trump loses the election.
Bennie Thompson, the Mississippi Representative, sent a letter to Homeland Land Security head Jeh Johnson.
“Trump supporters have begun raising the possibility of a civil war or race war in the event Trump is defeated,” Thompson said, citing a Washington Post article from earlier this week.
There is no basis for such an outlandish claim, if anything, because of Obama, Black Lives Matter are the ones who have been causing race wars and rioting in the streets. They are the ones who Homeland Security needs to worry about if Donald Trump wins.
Thompson saying that militias are mobilizing in the event that Donald Trump is not elected president is ludicrous.
The FBI determined that the men’s actions were based on their hatred for Muslims, people of Somali descent and immigrants – and out of a desire to inspire other militia groups and “wake people up” about the influx of Muslims in our country – this had nothing whatsoever to do with Donald Trump.
Truth be told, militias have been growing at an incredible rate over the last several years, partially because of what has become blatantly obvious during the Obama administration.
The American people feel they are losing their sovereignty, but more than that, President Obama has revealed the extent of the criminality that is taking place in our government, leaving no one accountable for those who clearly break the law.
Thompson, is inciting inflammatory rhetoric.
The following is from Overpasses for America:
Not long ago, the Southern Poverty Law Center, a leftist hate organization whose goal is to demonize patriotic Americans, spoke of the rapidly growing militia movement in the United States.
The SPLC identified 276 militia groups – up from 202 in 2014, a 37 percent increase.
The number represents a renewal of growth after several years of declines. The movement grew explosively after President Obama was elected, from 42 groups in 2008 to a peak of 334 in 2011 before declining in recent years.
Militias and preppers spoke out as well, bluntly stating that Obama has set the nation on course for a civil war.
President Obama has pushed the “prepper movement” into high gear, sending millions to buy guns, survival gear and food to live through a “civil war,” according to a nationally known survivalist who calls on Americans to prepare in a new book.
Bryce M. Towsley, whose “Prepper Guns” details the best weapons and ammo to survive a political or natural disaster, wrote, “I have watched in horror as Obama has attacked America with the brilliance that has allowed him to succeed.”
The National Rifle Association field editor and a well-known survivalist said he is calling on Americans to be ready for a situation in which authorities can’t be trusted.
“Americans are pitted against Americans as Obama has divided us on a course for civil war,” he wrote in the 270-page hardback that echoes many of the complaints heard by supporters of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.
Preppers aren’t standing by. For example, a convention of preppers was held this month just 60 miles from the White House in Berryville, Va. Nationally, preppers meet online via sites such as preppergroups.com. And NatGeoTV is bringing back “Doomsday Preppers.”
His solution to the problems preppers see isn’t going on offense, but being ready with a wall of defense mainly with guns. His choices: an AR-15, a semi-automatic pistol and a shotgun.
“The time is now to prepare for what’s coming,” he wrote.
