Drain the Swamp: Trump Triggers Mass Resignations at State Dept – FAKE NEWS *UPDATE*

*UPDATE January 27, 2017* Truth Uncensored fell victim to a ‘fake news’ story.

Fake News freakout began with a buzzing swarm of headlines about “mass resignations” by the “entire senior level of management officials” at the State Department resigning in some stunning act of protest against President Trump, Breitbart reported.

Before long, we learned we were talking about four peopleand they did not resign, they were fired.

“The State Department’s Entire Senior Management Team Just Resigned,” gasped the Washington Postprompting a ripple of secondary headlines across mediaspace. Some of those headlines were a bit more cautious, such as the Jerusalem Post reporting that the State Department team resigned “in a possibly coordinated walkout.”

As it turns out, that “walkout” was coordinated by the Trump administration:

All four, career officers serving in positions appointed by the President, submitted letters of resignation per tradition at the beginning of a new administration.

The letters from the White House said that their resignations were accepted and they were thanked for their service.

The White House usually asks career officials in such positions to stay on for a few months until their successors are confirmed.

“Any implication that that these four people quit is wrong,” one senior State Department official said. “These people are loyal to the secretary, the President and to the State Department. There is just not any attempt here to dis the President. People are not quitting and running away in disgust. This is the White House cleaning house.”

“These positions are political appointments, and require the President to nominate and the Senate to confirm them in these roles. They are not career appointments but of limited term,” said State Department spokesman Mark Toner. “Of the officers whose resignations were accepted, some will continue in the Foreign Service in other positions, and others will retire by choice or because they have exceeded the time limits of their grade in service.”

The “entire senior management” team suffering this “mass” obliteration consists of Assistant Secretary of State for Administration Joyce Anne Barr, Assistant Secretary of State for Consular Affairs Michele Bond, Ambassador Gentry O. Smith of the Office of Foreign Missions, and most notably Undersecretary for Management Patrick Kennedy, who tried to drag the FBI into Hillary Clinton’s cover-ups.

The entire senior level of the State Dept. resigned on Wednesday, underscoring how the department was in step with both the Obama administration and the globalist agenda, Info Wars reports.

The mass resignations provide President Trump with a clean slate to reboot the State Dept. which, over the past few years, became synonymous with corruption and violent regime changes overseas.

Those who resigned even made the point to do so when President Trump’s nominee for Secretary of State, Rex Tillerson, was visiting the Harry S. Truman Building where the State Dept. is located.

“It’s the single biggest simultaneous departure of institutional memory that anyone can remember, and that’s incredibly difficult to replicate,” said David Wade, who served as under Secretary of State John Kerry. “Department expertise in security, management, administrative and consular positions in particular are very difficult to replicate and particularly difficult to find in the private sector.”

And it’s worth mentioning that several of those who resigned were likely part of the Clinton State Dept. and its numerous scandals.

Ironically, this has left the anti-Trump Washington Post with very few insider sources of information at State.

“[State Dept. Undersecretary] Kennedy, who has been in that job for nine years, was actively involved in the transition and was angling to keep that job under Tillerson, three State Department officials told me,” the WaPo’s Josh Rogin reported. “Then suddenly on Wednesday afternoon, Kennedy and three of his top officials resigned unexpectedly, four State Department officials confirmed.”

The resignations weren’t just limited to headquarters; career foreign service officers at regional bureaus also resigned, which will cause pain in the short-term but will allow a cleaner atmosphere at the State Dept. to flourish.
