Rev. Al Sharpton was hit with an angry backlash on social media over the weekend after he tweeted that Jesus was a refugee in an apparent criticism of President Trump’s executive order on immigration.
Fox News Insider covered the controversy with a segment on “Fox and Friends,” on Tuesday showcasing a variety of replies from Twitter users that blasted Sharpton for what many said was his ignorance of the bible.
Before you head to church today, remember to thank God for his son, Jesus a refugee who fled to Egypt.

There’s one problem though: Sharpton’s tweet is not exactly accurate, at least according to the Bible.
As a result, he found himself in the middle of a social media firestorm.

Al Sharpton is too old to think. He no longer has a voice of direction. He is just talking nonsense to gain attention.
