In an interview 27 years ago, Donald Trump was asked what he would do differently about foreign policy if he were president. His sentiment has not changed, he just says it more vigorously today.
“We let Japan come in and dump everything in our markets.”
“I think people are tired of seeing the United States ripped off.”
“This country would make one helluva lot of money from those people that for 25 years have taken advantage.”
And on the presidential race, “I wouldn’t go in to lose.”
On all fronts, Donald Trump has held true to his word.
