ABC News’s George Stephanopoulos asked Hillary Clinton point blank about telling the families and the American people that the Benghazi attack, which resulted in the death of 4 Americans was the result of a “video protest.”
On national television, for all of America to hear, Hillary Clinton was forced to call the Benghazi families liars:
Breitbart reported that Clinton’s campaign wanted to get this over with on a weekend, when attention was focused elsewhere. They believe this news is so old and buried that no amount of media voodoo can cause it to rise from the grave.
Multiple family members of the Americans who died in Benghazi have continuously insisted, since 2012, that Clinton approached them at the memorial ceremony and lied to them about a video protest, even vowing to go after the filmmaker, an unscrupulous character who ended up in jail.
Patricia Smith, mother of Sean Smith, one of the four Americans killed at the American consulate in Benghazi, Libya in 2012, exploded in response to a clip of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton‘s prior testimony on the matter
Stephanopoulos could have used this opportunity to expose all of Clinton’s lies and ask the question that all of America has been wanting to know, “why did you lie to the families and the American people and say it was a video?”
Hillary Clinton privately told the truth about Benghazi to several close contacts, including her daughter Chelsea, while she and her administration peddled a lie to the families and the American people.
She and President Barack Obama need to be held accountable.
