Jesse Jackson appeared on Fox Sports 1’s “Undisputed” Monday to discuss NFL players protesting during the National Anthem and said that athletes have gone, “from picking cotton balls to picking footballs and basketballs without freedom.”

Jackson referenced boxing champion Muhammed Ali, saying, “When he changed his name, took a religious position against the war, they took his title, saying ‘You can have a title but not a championship. I won that.’”

He bashed President Trump for referring to the anthem kneelers as “sons of b******,” and then took aim at the NFL.

Jackson said the NFL not guaranteeing full contracts and allowing owners to cut National Anthem protesters without having to pay out the full contract, unlike in MLB and the NBA, is “workplace harassment” and “illegal,” Breitbart reported.
