From The Gateway Pundit:
Michael Wolff’s book has caused a firestorm. Media was set ablaze Wednesday after explosive accusations by Steve Bannon were thrown at Trump’s camp.
As previously reported, the rift between President Trump and former White House strategist Steve Bannon has been in steady escalation this week. The former White House strategist Steve Bannon claimed that Don Trump Jr will “crack […] like an egg” under pressure from the erroneous Russia investigations. Continuing, Bannon went as far as to call Trump Jr’s agreement to meet with a Russian attorney “treasonous”.advertisement - story continues below
Bannon then went on to double down on his distaste for Jared Kushner and stated to author Michael Wolff.
On the heels of Mr. Bannon’s claims, President Trump punched back saying that the former strategist has “lost his mind”, that he “only pretends to have influence”, and that Bannon had “very little to do with our historic victory.”
President Trump fired off a late night tweet Thursday saying he never authorized access to the White House for author Wolff.
He also nicknamed Steve Bannon “Sloppy Steve”.
I authorized Zero access to White House (actually turned him down many times) for author of phony book! I never spoke to him for book. Full of lies, misrepresentations and sources that don’t exist. Look at this guy’s past and watch what happens to him and Sloppy Steve!
