Sunday on NBC’s “Meet The Press,” during a very contentious interview, President Donald Trump aide Kellyanne Conway told host Chuck Todd, “We’re going to have to rethink our relationship here,” if he continued his condescending narrative demanding to know why press secretary Sean Spicer told what he referred to as a “falsehood,” about Trump’s inaugural crowd size.
Kellyanne was correct to point out that the press was quick to report a ‘falsehood’ about MLK’s statue missing from the Oval Office when there are other issues taking place within the Trump administration that should have been reported about.
The point is, as White House chief of staff Reince Priebus explained to Chris Wallace, “It really isn’t about crowd size. What it’s about is honesty in the media,” Priebus replied. “The media from day one has been talking about delegitimizing the election. Talking about the Russians, talking about everything you can imagine except the fact that we need to move this country forward.”
