Michael Moore Demands the Resistance: ‘Get Off The Couch’ and ‘Put Bodies on the Line’ to Stop Trump (Video)

‘Trump is not going to leave,’ Michael Moore predicted to Stephen Colbert, urging Democrats to do everything they can to get him out.

Liberal filmmaker Michael Moore said on “The Late Show” with host Stephen Colbert, that Democrats need to “get off the couch” and put their “bodies on the line” to bring down the Trump presidency.

On one hand, Moore denounces violence and intimidation going so far as admonishing what happened to Sarah Huckabee Sanders when she was kicked out of a restaurant, but then he said the anti-Trump resistance must be “willing” to risk their bodies to help bring him down. Seems to me he is trying to encourage people to riot without taking the blame when they do.

“We don’t have to be violent, we have to remain non-violent, but if the worst that happens to anybody in the Trump administration is that they don’t get to have a chicken dinner in Virginia, I mean, I don’t know,” Moore told Colbert. “But that’s not what’s going on now. We’re not talking about political differences. We’re talking about thousands of children being kidnapped and put in jails.”

“Sadly, Trump is not going to leave,” Moore continued. “He plans to be reelected, he loves the term ‘president for life.’ The only way that we’re going to stop this is eventually we’re all going to have to put our bodies on the line. You’re going to have to be willing to do this.”

Moore was promoting his new film called “Fahrenheit 11/9,” scheduled for release before November’s midterm elections. The title refers to the day after Trump was elected in 2016.

The part where Moore refers to Americans “getting off the couch” starts at mark 5:40. I suggest you skip to that point because the interview is rather boring.

Moore said he believes that America is a majority-liberal country, noting that Trump in 2016 and George W. Bush in 2000 both did not win the popular vote.

“The country we live in doesn’t want the Republicans in the White House. We’re the majority!” he said, naturally, calling for the Electoral College to be eliminated.

Moore’s comments came after Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) encouraged her supporters to harass and confront administration officials in public which landed her in a heap of trouble for inciting violence.

In encouraging individuals to create “crowds” who will “push back” on President Trump’s Cabinet members at private business establishments and in seemingly trying to prevent these Cabinet officials from obtaining basic necessities without fear of assault and violence, Rep. Waters seems to be violation of House rules.

Waters went on an unhinged rant in Los Angeles last weekend, encouraging supporters at a rally to stand up and “push back” against members of President Trump’s administration by harassing them at stores, restaurants, and gas stations.

This kind of rhetoric is very dangerous coming from Waters and she will not be happy until someone is killed – and there is no doubt they will blame that on President Trump.

Judicial Watch sent a hand-delivered letter to the chairman and co-chairman of the House Office of Congressional Ethics Monday calling for an investigation into whether Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) violated House ethics rules by encouraging violence against Trump administration Cabinet members.

Moore went on to say that most Americans are “very liberal” and pointed to the fact that Democrats have won the popular vote in all but one of the last seven presidential elections.

“The majority of Americans are very liberal. They take the liberal position on most issues. They believe women should be paid same as men, they believe there is climate change, they don’t believe people should be thrown in jail for smoking marijuana,” the Oscar-winner explained.

“The majority of Americans are liberal and we the Democrats have won the presidency, popular vote, in six of the last seven presidential elections,” Moore continued. “The Republicans have only won once since 1988—in 2004, with Bush, that’s the only time they’ve won the popular vote! The country we live in doesn’t want the Republicans in the White House! They don’t want them running this country! We’re the majority!”

Moore, whose films typically center on exploring left-wing causes, correctly predicted Donald Trump’s 2016 election victory, calling it the “biggest F-you in history,” and has also claimed that Trump will win re-election in 2020.

Michael Moore is considered one of Hollywood’s most vocal opponents of the Trump administration, describing the president as a “sociopath” who presents a “singular threat to humanity.”

Based on the way the Left has been acting, specifically the Hollywood elite, I think the real sociopaths are those that speak out the loudest against President Trump.
