Michelle Obama is claiming that museums, concert halls and other cultural centers are places for only white people. She claimed that black people do not feel welcome and those who live within ‘mere blocks would never dream of entering.’

During an opening speech at a museum in New York City, race-baiter Michelle Obama claimed that museums, concert halls and other cultural centers are places for only white people.

Where does she come up with this stuff, and where is the outrage from the black community!

Warner Todd Huston at Right Wing News reports:

During the opening of a museum in New York City, Michelle Obama couldn’t resist using her speech as a platform to push her race-baiting attack on America by claiming that museums are only places for white people.

The First Lady used her speech to attack America’s libraries, concert halls, and museums as places of racism.

“You see, there are so many kids in this country who look at places like museums and concert halls and other cultural centers and they think to themselves, well, that’s not a place for me, for someone who looks like me, for someone who comes from my neighborhood. In fact, I guarantee you that right now, there are kids living less than a mile from here who would never in a million years dream that they would be welcome in this museum.

“And growing up on the South Side of Chicago, I was one of those kids myself. So I know that feeling of not belonging in a place like this. And today, as first lady, I know how that feeling limits the horizons of far too many of our young people.

If black children are being raised to think that museums and other cultural places are not ‘places for them,’ than that is a problem with black culture, and certainly not the fault of white people.

  1. Well, she’s ridiculous. Coming from the South Side of Chicago sure hasn’t limited her horizons, unless FIRST LADY is less than she hoped to become. Get real. This woman is bitter and senseless, and far too unintelligent to be given a platform to lecture and criticize. I live less than 2 hours from Chicago, and have family who live there. We KNOW people from the same side of town she’s from and they GO to those places. Sure, they don’t always have the money for all the frills, treats, souvenirs, and extras, but a lot of people don’t. I didn’t either. But we went. She’s insulting the very people with whom she claims to identify! Maybe SHE didn’t belong there, and still doesn’t, but she doesn’t speak for everyone. How ignorant.

  2. You are the one with the warped perception. Slant it the way to make her look bad. Ridiculous. This is not the truth. Michelle once again speaks the truth. You however don’t.

  3. What a freaking RACIST thing to say. This woman and her husband and her race are the most RACIST people of them all. Should we tear the Museums and concert halls down, paint them with gang graffiti and racial epithets like “Nigga” and “HO”, have it just look run down and pile trash up in the corners of the building, put some trees in and free banana’s and monkey rope swings, and a few housing project looking themes so these savages can feel at home….give me a break. This is AMERICA, a MELTING POT, and if you don’t want to integrate, which MLK fought and fought for, yet now the blacks want to have their own places and do all their African “Heritage” type stuff, yet go live in Rwanda for a while, see how you like living there for 6 months, then come home and bitch about your life.

  4. I’ve always said if it wasn’t for slavery where would you as a black be today!! NOT I would imagine be around, most especially not in the United States where with your own need and determination and help from others you could be a productive and happy person!! Instead of living life as a hater and begrudging everyone around you!! Grow up, and get a life!! Don’t expect everything for nothing, and most of all love one another!!

  5. Mrs. Obama, “I guarantee you that right now, there are kids living less than a mile from here who would never in a million years dream that they would be welcome in this museum.”

Based on my experiences providing police services to a Brooklyn, NY Rap Hip Hop influenced community, I will guarantee Mrs. Obama there are hundreds of children living within 5 miles of the Whitney Museum who were irresponsibly introduced to a life by immature caregivers who fail to properly nurture and raise their children to be peaceful people.

In other words there are hundreds of victims of child abuse ‘existing’ within a few miles of where my president’s wife is speaking.

At this moment the focus should be on preventing this child abuse so children don’t grow up like Tupac Shakur and Grammy winner Kendrick Lamar, writing rap lyrics describing the child abuse/neglect they suffered or rapping about harming their peaceful neighbors in order to survive.

In his 2015 Grammy award winning Rap Performance titled “I”, Kendrick Lamar writes, “I’ve been dealing with depression ever since an adolescent.”

Quoting a January 2011 LAWeekly interview with Kendrick:

“Lamar’s parents moved from Chicago to Compton in 1984 with all of $500 in their pockets. “My mom’s one of 13 siblings, and they all got six kids, and till I was 13 everybody was in Compton,” he says.

“I’m 6 years old, seein’ my uncles playing with shotguns, sellin’ dope in front of the apartment. My moms and pops never said nothing, ’cause they were young and living wild, too. I got about 15 stories like ‘Average Joe.'”
