Michelle Obama the Hypocrite Praises Free Speech – Bans Press on China Trip

In a speech that sounded to be extremely political, on a trip claimed not to be political, Michelle said the following, yet the White House banned journalists from accompanying Michelle on her China trip and explained that it was because the purpose of her trip is not political… “And that’s why it’s so important for information and ideas to flow freely over the internet and through the media; because that’s how we discover the truth.”

If the trip is not political, than why are the American people paying $1+ Million for the Obama family and Michelle’s mother, along with the White House entourage to go? What exactly is the purpose of this trip… might it be an extravagant vacation!

As IJR reported, Michelle lectures a communist police state about free speech standards while the White House is spying on the American people and journalists, and restricting access to information in the U.S… double-standard much?

Michelle also took the opportunity to give the U.S. media a not-so-subtle jab: “My husband and I are on the receiving end of plenty of questioning and criticism from our media and our fellow citizens. And it’s not always easy, but we wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world.”
