Michelle Obama: ‘Too Many WHITE Republicans in Congress – No Wonder Black People Struggle!’ (Video)

Michelle Obama delivered a racist keynote address that was suppose to be based on ‘diversity’ at the Pennsylvania Conference for Women in October and went off on how many white people there are in Congress, specifically referring to Republicans.

She said that she used to feel embarrassed by the lack of diversity in Congress when she attended the State of the Union address.

“At the State of the Union address…one side of the room (is) literally gray and white,” Obama said in conversation with TV writer/producer Shonda Rhimes at the Pennsylvania Conference for Women. “On the other side of the room there are yellows and blues and whites and greens. Physically, there’s a difference in color.”

“We should be working actively to mix it up so we’re getting a real broad range of perspectives on every issue. Shoot, I would see that in Congress,” Obama said.

Obama expressed her disgust for all of the white Republican men and said, “no wonder people don’t trust politics.”

“I look at that and I go, no wonder. No wonder we struggle, no wonder people don’t trust politics,” she said, adding that diversity is also an issue in companies across the country. “We’re not even noticing what these rooms look like.”

Here are some reactions on Twitter:

Seems to me if more African-Americans want to be in Congress they need to set that as a goal in high-school to go into politics – Michele should spend more time talking to the inner-city kids about setting higher goals and taking advantage of the college funding that is available to minorities.
