After House Speaker John Boehner announced that he is pursuing legal action against him over his use of executive power, Obama lashed out at the GOP:

“They don’t do anything except block me and call me names,” Obama said in a speech on the economy at Lake Harriet in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Obama pointed his finger squarely back at congressional Republicans on Friday, stating that their historic inaction prompted him to go it alone to address the nation’s problems. See, it’s not his fault he had to override Congress; the Republicans made him do it.

Obama went on to defend that he was forced to take action on immigration, the federal minimum wage and pay discrimination because this Congress, which has been called the least productive Congress in history, refused to compromise on legislative priorities.

Obama said Republicans have struck down ‘every single serious idea’ to help the middle class, and he called for ‘economic patriotism’ a week before July 4th.

  1. Does this idiot even know how to SPELL “Democracy?” It certainly does not appear to know the meaning.
