White House National Trade Council Director Peter Navarro unleashed a scathing attack on Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on this weekend’s broadcast of “Fox News Sunday,” for what he called engaging in “bad-faith diplomacy” with President Donald Trump during the G7 summit in Charlevoix, Quebec.
Navarro did not hold back his anger saying there was a “special place in hell” for Trudeau after the press conference that he held while Trump was en route to Singapore for a summit with North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un.
“There’s a special place in hell for any foreign leader that engages in bad-faith diplomacy with President Donald J. Trump and then tries to stab him in the back on the way out the door,” Navarro said. “And that’s what bad faith Justin Trudeau did with that stunt press conference.”

I watched Justin Trudeau’s press conference live and I have to say that I felt the same degree of anger. Not one reporter in the room asked about the massive difference in tariffs that Canada charges the United States as the reason that President Trump has taken his stand.
Based on Justin’s false statements at his news conference, and the fact that Canada is charging massive Tariffs to our U.S. farmers, workers and companies, I have instructed our U.S. Reps not to endorse the Communique as we look at Tariffs on automobiles flooding the U.S. Market!
