Poll: Americans ‘Overwhelmingly’ Believe Obama ‘Improperly Surveilled’ Trump Campaign

Despite more than a year of relentless propaganda by the mainstream media and Democrats against President Trump, a new poll from IBD/TIPP shows that “Americans overwhelmingly believe the Obama administration ‘improperly surveilled’ Trump’s presidential campaign.”

The poll also shows that a majority say they would like to see a special prosecutor appointed to look into possible misconduct by the FBI and Department of Justice in spying on Trump.

DML reports:

According to the data, 55 percent of Americans now believe it is “likely” that the Obama administration “improperly surveilled the Trump campaign during the 2016 election.”

Americans who believe Obama played dirty during the election include:

    * 31 percent of Democrats

    * 87 percent of Republicans

    * 55 percent of Independents.

And 54 percent want a special counsel to investigate “whether the FBI and the Department of Justice improperly surveilled the Trump campaign during the 2016 presidential election.”

Only 35 percent believe that the FBI and Justice Department attempted to outright frame Trump for colluding with the Russians.

newly-released Rasmussen poll shows that 50 percent of Americans “believe it’s at least somewhat likely senior federal law enforcement officials broke the law in an effort to prevent Donald Trump from winning the presidency.” Only 40 percent disagree.

Another Rasmussen poll from this week shows that only 42 percent of Americans believe Russia meddled in the 2016 presidential election more than the FBI. Moreover, a full 34 percent believe the FBI meddled more than the Russians, while 24 percent are unsure.

To sum it up, we now live in a country where 58 percent of the American people either believe our own FBI meddled in our presidential election as opposed a hostile foreign government, or are not sure that the FBI did not.

Meanwhile, to the dismay of the mainstream media and the left, President Trump’s approval rating is running ahead of former-President Obama’s.
