Many retailers have been suffering from slow economic activity for years, as well as from increased competition from online retailers but with the added weight of Obamacare retailers are feeling it even more. Weakened companies cannot afford the real estate and personnel costs that go along with supporting hundreds of unprofitable locations so are downscaling. The clearest proof of the problem was Radio Shack’s recent decision to close more than 1,000 stores!

Here is a list of well-known retailers that are closing stores, and things are only going to get worse:

1. Abercrombie & Fitch

2. Barnes & Noble

3. Aeropostale

4. J.C. Penney

5. Office Depot

6. RadioShack

7. Sears Holdings

8. Staples

9. Toys “R” Us
