Seal Accuses Oprah of Enabling Weinstein: You Are ‘Part of the Problem’

Singer Seal lashed out at Oprah Winfrey following her Golden Globes speech, claiming that she knew about Harvey Weinstein’s actions as a sexual predator.

‘You’ve been part of the problem for decades’ Seal said to Oprah for ‘ignoring rumors’ against Weinstein and says she’s an example of ‘sanctimonious Hollywood’ after her Golden Globes speech.

Seal took to Instagram Wednesday, sharing a shot of Oprah with the disgraced producer at two events with a meme that read: ‘When you have been part of the problem for decades… but suddenly they all think you are the solution,’  the Daily Mail reported.

Seal posted this meme with a pointed caption lashing out at Oprah Wednesday

“Oh I forgot, that’s right….. you’d heard the rumours but you had no idea he was actually serially assaulting young stary-eyed actresses who in turn had no idea what they were getting into. My bad,” Seal wrote in the caption, adding the hashtag #SanctimoniousHollywood at the end.

It’s hard to imagine how any of these powerhouse Hollywood Elites did not know that Weinstein had been a sexual predator for decades.

From The Daily Caller:

Many of the celebrities in attendance at Sunday’s awards wore black in solidarity with the #MeToo movement along with pins that said “Time’s Up.” Several of the presenters and award winners spoke about the sexual misconduct issue in their industry during the show, but none received quite as high praise as Winfrey.

Oprah was awarded the Cecil B. DeMille Award for lifetime achievement during the 75th Annual Golden Globes on Sunday after which she delivered a speech that has many thinking she’ll run for president in 2020.
