Sean Hannity BLASTS Kneeling NFL Players Who Protest National Anthem in Viral Tweetstorm

President Donald Trump blasted NFL players who protest the national anthem and criticized some in the league Friday night at a rally for Alabama Republican Senate candidate Luther Strange.

The president said that team owners should fire players for taking a knee and added that if fans would “leave the stadium” when players did so, “I guarantee, things will stop.”

Trump said NFL owners should respond to the players by saying, “Get that son of a bitch off the field right now, he’s fired. He’s fired!” at which point the crowd went wild erupting into cheers chanting, “USA! USA! USA!”

On Saturday the NFL Commissioner lectured President Trump — not the jackass players kneeling during the national anthem, the GP reports.

NFL commissioner Roger Goodell fired back at President Trump on Saturday for encouraging league owners to remove players who take a knee during the national anthem, saying Trump’s “divisive comments” show “an unfortunate lack of respect for the NFL.”

Americans are fed up with these overpaid ingrates disrespecting police officers and the American flag. NFL viewership is down and the stadiums are sparsely filled as citizens boycott the appalling behavior.

Conservative powerhouse Sean Hannity unleashed on the NFL commissioner for lecturing the president.

Looks like the  wants to lecture  and fans who prefer football over political statements. How many people fought, bled…..

Cont. and died fighting for everyone’s rights. They fought under the AMERICAN FLAG! Many Americans want respect for the Flag and the Anthem.

To me, one of the best moments on game day is after the game when players on both teams unite, in a circle, say a prayer of thanks. #UNITED

If @NFL and players choose to continue to make political statements (their right) I predict fans who disagree will flee (their right also)

President Trump is VERY pro-American and has high standards when it comes to being a patriot. He has made it very clear that the American flag and the national anthem should be held in the highest regards.

While the Left reacted in shock at the presidents comment the American people agree with his sentiment.

The NFL is suffering the repercussions of entering the political playing field and sports fans are leaving the league in droves, and several recent polls and studies show that political activism accounts for a big reason why.

Breitbart reports:

After ratings for Week Two crashed, adding to the angst already felt by a poor showing in Week 1, industry insiders and analysts are sounding the alarm.

A new report claims that CBS, ESPN, Fox and NBC could take a $200 million hit to their estimated $2.5 billion in NFL advertising earnings if fans continue to turn off the TV, the The Hollywood Reporter noted recently.

Not only do analysts see a fall in ad revenue, but this decline may also result in falling stock prices for the networks.

In a poll last year, 44% of fans said they would stop watching the NFL if protests against the national anthem continued. In addition, a J.D. Power survey showed fans citing the anthem protests as the main reason they stopped watching NFL games.

If newscasters keep making derogatory remarks against President Trump, and players keep ‘taking a knee’ to the national anthem, American patriots are going to keep tuning them out.
