Tiffany Trump Accepts Whoopi’s Invitation To Sit Together At NY Fashion Week (Video)

Declaring that politics should be left out of fashion events, “The View” co-host made the offer yesterday after President Trump’s daughter was left sitting next to empty seats at a high-profile fashion show Monday night, Fox News Insider reports.

A group of fashion magazine editors, including Elle’s Nikki Ogunnaike, were reported to have protested when they realized the seating arrangement.

“Nobody wants to sit next to Tiffany Trump at Philipp Plein, so they moved and the seats by her are empty,” former Wall Street Journal columnist Christina Binkley wrote on her social media account, accompanied by a photo of Trump.

Goldberg, a vocal critic of President Trump’s policies, took issue with the decision by some at the event to shun the president’s daughter.

“I’m supposed to go to a couple more shows. I don’t know what’s gonna happen, but I’m coming to sit with you!” she said.

Goldberg said Tiffany Trump was simply there to look at fashion, not to be involved with politics. She also hit out at the Elle editor, and others, for reportedly delaying the show while the last-minute seating changes were sorted out.

“For a magazine that says it’s a a woman’s magazine to do this?” said Goldberg, calling them “bad apples.”

Tiffany Trump accepted an invitation from Whoopi Goldberg to sit together at New York Fashion Week.

Tiffany is the president’s younger of two daughters and his only child with second wife, Marla Maples.
