Greisa Martinez, the director of the United We Dream Network, believes that she and other ‘dreamers’ who were born here by illegal parents have a ‘right’ to live here, and said that Donald Trump’s illegal immigration policy was “a threat to the way of life in our communities.”
According to Breitbart, Martinez said, “For people like myself that are undocumented (illegal) and have undocumented (illegal) family members, it’s been clear from day one that he wants to enact mass deportation. He wants to deport me and my mother. That is crystal clear for all of us. But this in and out and softening or not is just erratic behavior and concerning to our country.”
She added, “As someone whose father was deported eight years ago, I understand the pain that brings to communities. But Donald Trump wants to make something that’s already bad and toxic and make it worse. He has promised to increase the force by triple in the community. He has promised to deport people like myself and my families and U.S. citizen children along with them. So I think that Donald Trump is a threat to the way of life in our communities.”
While I empathize with Martinez, the truth is that she, her family and other ‘dreamers’ are here illegally and Trump is right, people coming here illegally and giving birth should not guarantee them citizenship, they are still illegal.
You cannot have a massive influx of legal and illegal immigration at the same time you are growing an enormous welfare state but that is exactly what Obama and the Democrats are doing. They don’t care because it gets them voters and that is all they care about, winning the election.
According to the Independent Sentinel, next year, 700,000 illegal immigrants unlawfully given amnesty will receive monthly benefits, in addition to up to $35,000 in IRS tax credits.
At year-end 2014, 541,000 new Social Security numbers were issued to illegals known as DREAMers (DACA) and their parents (DAPA).
Illegal immigrants will collect old age benefits, survivor’s benefits, and disability insurance.
Social Security Welfare [SSA] is proceeding as if Obama’s illegal DAPA amnesty went through though it did not. It is proceeding as if nothing has changed in the wake of a federal judge’s injunction against Obama’s November 2014 executive actions.
“By the end of FY 2014, we had issued approximately 541,000 original SSNs to individuals authorized to work under the 2012 Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) policy since its inception,” a letter from Acting Commissioner of the SSA Carolyn Colvin to Senator Jeff Sessions said.
The Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program applies to illegal immigrants brought to the country before they were 16 and who are younger than 30.
Obama authorized the agency to issue work permits after legislation granting amnesty to young illegal aliens failed in the Democrat-controlled Congress in 2010.
The Center for Immigration Studies reported that “in 2012, 51% of households headed by an immigrant (legal or illegal) reported that they used at least one welfare program during the year, compared to 30% of native households.”
A stunning 71% of illegal immigrant households with children collect some form of welfare generally on behalf of their children.
All of these illegal immigrants will continue to support illegal behavior, vote for those who support illegal behavior, and won’t give a damn about our Constitution.
