[Watch] FBI Director Warns ISIS In All 50 US States Planning Terrorist Attacks On Americans

In less than two years, ISIS has gone from a terror start-up group to what FBI Director James Comey calls a “chaotic spider web” infesting the USA.

FBI James Comey, the Director of the FBI said in a interview with CBS 60 Minutes on February 25, 2015, that ISIS terrorist cells are now active in all 50 US states. Comey said their threat is growing and there will be attacks on U.S. soil by Al Qaeda surrogates such as the Khorosan terror group, and lone wolf Jihadists.

Comey repeated his concerns during a press release on February 25, 2015.

Comey said there is “chaotic spider web” in the US, with young Muslim men being radicalized in Illinois and the 49 other states. Comey suggests ISIS uses social media like a job fair. That’s how he says terrorists snagged three New York men facing ISIS charges.

“Those people exist in every state. I have homegrown violent extremist investigations in every single state. Until a few weeks ago there was 49 states. Alaska had none which I couldn’t quite figure out. But Alaska has now joined the group so we have investigations of people in various stages of radicalizing in all 50 states,” Comey said.

With the threat of ISIS growing, President Obama not only opened our borders with Mexico, he facilitated the influx by purposely incapacitating the border patrol. Obama also ignored pleas from Senators to close the borders to protect the United States. There were reports that there were ISIS Training Camp In Mexico 8 Miles From U.S. Border.

ISIS has utilized social media as a means to recruit, but federal investigators also use it to catch suspected terrorists. In Chicago, there are several current federal cases of teenagers being recruited online by ISIS, buying plane tickets to travel overseas; plans interrupted by U.S. counter-terrorism agents, in some instances at O’Hare Airport.

“Slick propaganda through social media that goes like this: ‘Troubled soul, come to the caliphate, you will live a life of glory, these are the apocalyptic end times, you will find a life of meaning here fighting for our so-called caliphate and if you can’t come, kill somebody where you are.’ That is a message that goes out to troubled souls everywhere,” Comey said, referring to ISIS.

Former CIA covert operations officer Mike Baker said that he believes there is “a lot of communication” between ISIS and Mexican drug cartels given past efforts by al Qaeda to do likewise on Thursday’s “Laura Ingraham Show.”

Comey initially expressed his concern of growing ISIS recruiting cells in the USA during an interview with CNN on Oct 3, 2014.

Comey repeated his concerns during a press release on February 25, 2015.
