On July 2nd, a man who was deported to Mexico last year but returned to the U.S. illegally murdered his teenage girlfriend and her 3 year old son.
25 year-old Prudencio Juan Fragos-Ramirez was charged with murdering 18 year-old Maria G. Cruiz-Calvillo and her 3 year-old son Luis F. Lopez-Cruz by first shooting them and then setting them on fire.
Cruiz-Calvillo and Luis had gunshot wounds, and according to coroner reports, the child was probably still alive when he was set him aflame. The child’s fourth birthday would have been this Thursday.

Maria G. Cruiz-Calvillo, 18, and Luis F. Lopez-Cruz were identified Monday as the bodies found last week inside a vehicle that was set on fire in a ravine near the intersection of Scootney and Ridge roads.
Fragos-Ramirez was arrested hours into the investigation at his home less than a mile from where the bodies were found. He appeared Monday in Franklin County Superior Court, where Judge Carrie Runge set bail at $1 million.
Runge ordered Fragos-Ramirez, who has previous convictions for DUI and driving while suspended, held for up to 72 hours while prosecutors determine what charges to file. Prosecutors say Fragos-Ramirez was deported in 2014 and got back into the country illegally.
There are no Federal statistic on crimes committed by illegal aliens, but a number of groups have produced estimates based on data collected from independent research.
According to statistics released by Rep. Steve King, R-Iowa, 12 Americans are killed every day by illegal aliens. If those numbers are correct, it translates to 4,380 Americans murdered every single year by people who should not even be here in the first place.
